Cultivating Global Talents in the Realm of Social Sciences

National Taiwan University (NTU) stands out as Taiwan's preeminent university with the most comprehensive array of academic disciplines. Currently, its 16 colleges span across humanities and arts, science and technology, biology and agriculture, medicine and public health, as well as social sciences and management. NTU consistently demonstrates exceptional teaching and research performance across this diverse spectrum. In the 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject, NTU achieved the 75th position globally in Social Sciences and Management, proudly representing the only Taiwanese institution within the top 100 world universities. Entrusted with the crucial task of leading advancements in their respective fields within Taiwan, the College of Social Sciences, and the College of Management at NTU have nurtured numerous leaders both domestically and internationally. Meanwhile, the forthcoming establishment of the International School of Politics and Economics will leverage the resources of the government and enterprises to jointly cultivate interdisciplinary top talents in politics and economics, and assist talents in entering related industries. NTU will continue to uphold the spirit of “dedicating the University to the Spiritus Universalis” and exerting profound influence on various aspects of society, politics, and economics.
