Since 2008, the NTU Career Center has published the “Passion Worker” career handbook annually, offering 16 years of valuable career guidance for students. The handbook features alumni experiences and career advice, helping students develop proactive mindsets and prepare for their professional life. In 2021, the NTU Career Center partnered with the NTU Press to digitize the publication and distribute it as e-books, making it more convenient for students to access and read while significantly expanding its impact.
Upon entering the workplace, many students face challenges in communication, stress management, and workplace dynamics — issues that are difficult to address within the classroom setting. Therefore, this year’s edition places special emphasis on career insights from alumni across diverse fields. For the first time, the Career Center has partnered with student associations to consolidate career-related resources, maximizing its promotional impact. Additionally, partnerships with NTU Press, CNA, and LINE Taiwan have led to a series of interviews and training courses on the fundamentals of marketing, equipping students with practical skills to enhance their competitiveness in the workplace.
In December of this year, the Career Center will also host a "Career Sharing Forum, inviting alumni back to campus to share their career journeys and provide valuable insights. Through these activities, we believe students will gain a deeper understanding of their future career paths and discover opportunities for growth and inspiration. NTU remains committed to providing students with comprehensive resources and support to help them identify and achieve their personal career goals.
Recent editions of the handbook are predominantly available as e-books on platforms such as Google Play, Readmoo, Books.com.tw, Kobo, and TAAZE.
At the end of each year, the Career Center hosts a "Career Sharing Forum" in collaboration with the handbook publication, inviting students and faculty members from the National Taiwan University System, which includes National Taiwan University, National Taiwan Normal University, and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, to participate.
Alumni returned to NTU to share with junior students their personal journeys and reflections while facing important life decisions.
